The Oakley Way
At Oakley, we focus on the complete development of students’ minds, hearts, and bodies, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence. Our mission-driven curriculum promotes intellectual growth, creativity, and experiential learning, supported by a highly trained faculty.
With small class sizes (a 1:9 teacher-student ratio), our teachers provide personalized attention, ensuring smooth transitions between grades and divisions.
Our academic program is divided into three stages:
- Genius Factory: Nursery & Kindergarten
- Oakley – Primary: Grades 1–5
- Oakley – Champs: Grades 6–8
We maintain high standards, and our students consistently achieve above the national average, supported by a nurturing and structured environment.

Global Citizenship nurtures personal respect and respect for others, wherever they live. It encourages individuals to think deeply and critically about what is equitable and just, and what will minimise harm to our planet. Exploring Global Citizenship themes help learners grow more confident in standing up for their beliefs, and more skilled in evaluating the ethics and impact of their decisions.

Inquiry-based learning is an approach to learning that emphasizes the student’s role in the learning process. Rather than the teacher telling students what they need to know, students are encouraged to explore the material, ask questions, and share ideas.
Inquiry-based learning uses different approaches to learning, including small-group discussion and guided learning. Instead of memorizing facts and material, students learn by doing. This allows them to build knowledge through exploration, experience, and discussion.
